Sex addiction is a method of medicating feelings and/or coping with stress to the degree that one’s sexual behavior becomes the major coping mechanism in their life. The individual often cannot stop the sexual behavior for any great length of time by themselves. The sex addict spends a lot of time in the pursuit of his or her sexual behaviors/fantasies or they have a binge of sexual behaviors. Intensives provide help for sex addicts by creating a structured sex addiction treatment environment

Designed for couples struggling with sex addiction.
These types of intensives serve the needs of couples who are fighting sex addiction in their relationship. We offer 3 and 5 day Couple’s Intensives through Heart to Heart Counseling Center. A licensed counselor will address the structural damage that takes place in most systems within sexually addictive relationships. These sex addiction intensives provide help for sex addicts and their partners or spouses.
Couples attain skills and goals to count themselves among many clients that have successfully remained in committed relationships after the awareness of sex addiction. A new beginning is possible with the tools attained from this intensive.
The 3 and 5 day intensives include:

- One session for the partner each day
- One session as a couple with a licensed counselor each day
